Montana State University President Waded Cruzado joined the university in 2010.

On October 15, 2009, Waded Cruzado became the 12th President of Montana State University, succeeding President Geoffery Gamble. Cruzado had previously served as Interim President of New Mexico State University from 2008-2009. Cruzado assumed office at MSU on January 4, 2010, and was inaugurated on September 10, 2010.

Since joining MSU, Cruzado has led numerous efforts to construct new facilities on campus, including Norm Asbjornson Hall. Montana State University has seen record growth during her tenure.
