Project Description

This project involves researching, designing, and assembling an antenna for Geoforce that will be smaller than the current antenna and match, or better, its performance.  The antenna Geoforce currently employs satisfies the performance requirements they desire, but they simply want the antenna to be smaller than what it is now.  Such an antenna would allow the company to continue innovating it’s flagship product, while not having to worry about a lack of space.  Better performance of the product would be defined by improved pattern and gain.  Because of the high volume of units that would be produced, keeping the unit price low is important. The overarching goal of the project is to get the same performance with an antenna that is smaller in size and weight.
