The current design has been developed by MSU mechanical engineering and mechanical engineering technology students as a part of their senior capstone project. The fall 2010 semester was used to develop a new HPV design that will be used in the 2011 competition. The spring 2011 semester will be utilized to manufacture, assemble, and test the proposed design.

The 2011 competition will be the sixth time MSU has competed in the ASME West Coast Human Powered Vehicle Competition. We are excited to be building on an impressive multidisciplinary capstone design project and look forward to the endless possibilities awaiting us through this experience.
The continuation of this project and its success lie in the enthusiasm and experience of the underclassmen. We are continually recruiting and looking for members to be a part of this unique opportunity to gain real hands on engineering experience. If you are a cycling enthusiast, have design ideas, of just want to be a part of a fun and dynamic team, please join us!
