Mallette receives 2012 Betty Coffey Award

Natasha Mallette

Natasha Mallette, a doctoral candidate in chemical engineering, has been awarded the 2012 Betty Coffey Award. The award was created to honor the memory of Betty Coffey, an outstanding teacher and pioneering professor at Montana State, who was the first woman to achieve tenure in the College of Engineering at Montana State University.

According to the selection committee, Mallette exemplifies the criteria of academic achievement, service to the community, meaningful, potential contribution to the diversity of the College, leadership potential and commitment to the advancement of the profession of engineering.

The award includes a $1,000 honorarium.
