Project Description
Our project, Electronic Gaming, involves the design and implementation of an embedded video game system.  The video output should model a standard three wheel jackpot machine.  Each of these wheels needs to include six images which include: a cherry, an orange, a plum, a bell, a bar, and a custom logo provided by the customer.  When the game is activated the system needs to start spinning the three wheels while producing an appropriate spinning sound.  The wheels should then stop one at a time producing either a winning or losing combination followed by a suitable melody and flashing light pattern.  The game must then be ready for reactivation and repeat the described game play.  Each time there is a winner the system must record the type of win that occurred along with a date and time stamp.  This winning record only needs to include the last 20 winners.  Access to the win record and user odds manipulation shall be provided by some type of menu and button interface.  Finally, the video and audio output should be provided by a VGA video out and an RCA audio out respectively.
