Electrical and Computer Engineering Faculty Position Opening    

 

Montana State University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, invites applications for tenure track positions at the assistant or associate professor level starting August 16, 2007. Excellent opportunities are available in several exciting research programs. 

 

Candidates in one of the following four areas are of particular interest: Nanotechnology (potentially including nanofabrication, nanomaterials, metamaterials and nanomaterials based devices); Complex Systems and Control (research in modeling and control of complicated systems, potentially including electronic, electromechanical, chemical, biological, micro- and nano-scale, and human components); Mixed Signal Design (including analog and digital silicon-level integrated circuit design, application specific integrated circuits, architecture development or system on chip); Communications Systems (potentially including information and signal coding, modulation, signal processing, antennas and array processing, high frequency RF technologies, hardware and software implementation techniques, with application to optical and/or wireless communications systems).

 

Required: Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering or closely related field by the start date; application materials as specified below. Proven successes in relevant research, experience in teaching, and relevant industrial experience are desirable.
