Women in Engineering
More and more women are enrolling in electrical and computer engineering
at MSU.
Engineering is not an exclusively masculine endeavor. What
really matters is motivation, scholastic ability and interest.
Studies have shown that men and women do equally well as
engineering students and professional engineers.
Some characteristics common to most engineers are an
interest in mathematics, science and problem solving, and a
desire to do useful, meaningful work. These attributes are
certainly not limited to men.
For women who want a chance to use their full potential,
electrical engineering, computer engineering and electrical and electronics engineering technology offers a rewarding and self-fulfilling
career.
What our graduates say.
"Science and engineering is an exciting field that has lots
of room for growth, personal development and personal

"MSU is a great, small, close knit environment"
"Technology and its growth is challenging and interesting.
It is a fun way to make a living."
"It is the technical mind which must, ultimately, untangle
the messes made by the non-technical minds in our society."
"Great opportunities and Fun!"
