The EMPower Student Center is located in the "heart" of the engineering complex in the College of Engineering, Roberts Hall 313. The DOC program is located within the EMPower Student Center and offers the following services:
- Engineering Help Center
- Space to work independently and in a group setting
- Computers and engineering software programs including AutoCAD, ProE, (others)
- Printing, copying, and faxing capabilities as well as access to making long distance phone calls
- A comfortable setting including lounge chairs, microwave, and refrigerator

- Math Learning Center (994-3601; Wilson Hall 2-214)

- Chemistry Help Center (994-4801; check with the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department's Main Office for location; temporarily located in modular building north of Chemistry and Biochemistry Building)
- American Indian Council Services
DOC was founded with a multi-year grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation - Engineering Schools of the West Initiative
