The Departments in the College of Engineering use a common scholarship application form. This is an on-line version of that form. Students interested in applying for scholarships must submit this form (on-line or paper version) annually by February 1st. Paper versions should be sent to:

Written notification to scholarship recipients is made as soon as possible, but no later than June 1st.
The fine print...
| Financial Need-Based Scholarships | Some scholarships are
limited to students demonstrating financial need. To be
considered for "need-based" scholarships, you
must file a financial aid application. (These can be
obtained from Financial Aid Services at MSU.) Failure to
complete the financial aid application will disqualify
you for any "need-based" scholarships. Due to the length of time required to process a financial aid application, you are encouraged to apply as early as possible. To help expedite the scholarship selection process, three financial need related questions appear on the scholarship form, but be aware that "need-based" scholarships cannot be awarded until clearance has been received from the Financial Aid Services office. |
| Additional Scholarship Information | By submitting this form
you will be considered for scholarships awarded by your
Department and the College of Engineering, as well as
some University scholarships for which engineering
students are eligible. Departmental scholarships are
conditional upon the recipient being enrolled in that
Department. Additional Departmental requirements may
apply. This is NOT an application for financial assistance provided by state and/or federal authorities. Most scholarships are awarded for a single academic year only. Typically, these scholarships are awarded in equal installments at the start of each semester. This scholarship application form must be submitted each year in order to be eligible for scholarships awarded for the following year. |
