Student Chapter:

So you think you have what it takes to be involved in the best student chapter at MSU - HUH? Take this simple quiz and find out:

• Do you like learning about your profession from people who are leaders in the industry?
• Would you like to actually get to know the names of the people you sit through class with?
• Would you like to see your professors in an informal setting? (Yes, Professional Engineers do know how to have fun!)
• Do you like competitions?
• Would you like to be on a design team that will dominate regional competitions?
• Would you like to have more options and job offers when/if :-) you graduate?
• Do you like...umm... 'social beverages'??
• Do you like to have a lot of fun with other students?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions you may have what it takes to be a member of the ASCE Student Chapter. If you would like to join, then there are some things that you need to know. ASCE memberships are split into two catagories:

Student Chapter Membership

The Student Chapter Membership entitles you to be a registered member of the MSU ASCE Student Chapter with all of the priveledges entitled to a member:

• Right to vote in all ASCE elections.
• Able to participate in Bridge and Canoe teams
• Able to travel to Regional Competitions- lodging / travel paid!
• Travel across Montana on various Civil Engineering related Field Trips - lodging/travel Paid!
• Inside track on national and local scholarships

The local MSU ASCE Student Membership annual dues cost $20 and are used to fund various ASCE events like pizza parties, recruiting events, publications .... Presidential Bahama vacations, etc. You will also be able to set up an account with Career Services for free, allowing you to participate in on-campus interviews.To join, click here to fill out an application form or see Anders Larsson in Cobh 208.

National ASCE Membership

Now that I'm a member of the student chapter - Why should I join ASCE National? ASCE National provides you with all the benefits, products and services which are recieved by professional members at a fraction of the cost - Benefits like:
