Current Activities and Interests
The resemblance may be remarkable, but the clown in the photograph is not me. The photo was printed by the Bozeman Daily Chronicle several years ago, and has provided lots of laughs.
My primary activities at the moment are teaching and serving as Montana State's NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative. I also serve on the Academics Compliance and Eligibility Cabinet, which is in the third tier of the NCAA's governance structure.
Structural analyisis was my emphasis in graduate school and early in my career, but engineering mechanics, especially rigid body dynamics, is my primary interest now.
