Conference Announcement

The 62nd Annual ASEE Pacific Northwest Section Meeting will be hosted by Montana State University in Bozeman from April 27-29, 2000. The theme of this year's meeting is Issues and Trends in Engineering Program Assessment 2000. Several featured activities are planned including a panel discussion with faculty and administrators, representing institutions throughout the northwest, sharing their various experiences in preparing for and undergoing ABET EC2000 review. A second session is planned, which features a unique opportunity to interact with representatives from regional and national industries, regarding employers' views of engineering education today and outcomes assessment. Representatives from Boeing, Tektronix, HP, Motorola, 3M, US West, Conoco, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, NEC, Xerox, as well as others are expected. And, of course, original papers on a variety of topics related to the conference theme will be delivered. A published proceedings of conference papers is expected. Please consider attending this year for what should be an enjoyable and productive Section Meeting.

Meeting Location

Bozeman is located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of southwest Montana, about 90 miles north of Yellowstone National Park. Jet service is available on Delta, Northwest, and Horizon airlines.
